Curriculus LLC ("Curriculus," "we," "us," or "our") explains here how we handle information when you visit our website, contact us or work with us on course development.

Information From This Website

Netlify hosts this website and processes its contact form. Netlify may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, requested pages and security logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as pages visited, referring sites, general location and device type. We have disabled Google's advertising features. You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

When you submit the form, Netlify stores the response and sends a notification to Curriculus.

Information You Choose to Send

When you contact us through the form or by email, you may provide your name, email address, organization, course goals, inquiry details, timing, reply preference and other information you include. Netlify processes and stores form submissions. Curriculus uses Google Workspace for business email, so Google processes and stores email messages and form notifications sent to us.

If we work together, you may also provide billing information and course materials such as readings, syllabi and learning objectives. For enrollment-based billing, we request aggregate institutional enrollment counts. We do not require student names for that reporting.

Please do not send student personal information, protected student records or other sensitive personal information unless a signed agreement specifically authorizes and governs that information.

How We Use Information

• Respond to inquiries and communicate about projects.
• Develop, deliver and revise the course materials described in our agreement.
• Process payments and maintain business records.
• Operate, secure and improve the reliability of the website and services.
• Understand how visitors use the website.
• Meet legal obligations and handle disputes.

Course Materials and Permission

We use customer course materials to provide the agreed services. We do not use those materials to train or improve AI models or algorithms. We require any service provider that processes course materials for us to follow the applicable project agreement and data-use restrictions.

We do not publish customer course materials or developed curriculum in marketing, case studies or examples without explicit written permission. This applies to anonymized examples as well as identifiable materials. We also obtain permission before naming a customer or institution in marketing.

When We Share Information

Netlify processes website traffic and contact submissions for hosting, form storage, delivery and security. Google Workspace processes email sent to Curriculus and notifications from the contact form. Google Analytics processes website usage data. We may use other providers for a specific course-development project only as needed to perform the agreed work. The signed quote, service agreement or project data schedule identifies any project-specific requirements.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information when you direct us to, when the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, sale or transfer of the business subject to applicable obligations.

Retention and Deletion

Netlify and Google retain technical, form and email information under their applicable service terms and account settings. Google Analytics retains website usage data for two months. We retain inquiry, billing and other business records as needed to provide services, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.

We agree on course-material retention with each customer as part of the project. That agreement also addresses backup handling, deletion requests and any record-retention or existing-cohort needs under an enrollment plan.

Your Choices

You may contact us to request access to your personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, opt out of marketing communications or ask us to remove course materials. Your rights and our response obligations may depend on where you live and the agreement that governs the project. Email hello@curriculus.com.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.

Changes to This Policy

When we adopt changes, we will post the updated policy and its effective date. We will provide any additional notice the law requires.
